Sponsors & donors
What sponsorship pays for, and what it can never buy
Sponsorship covers the cost of running a two-venue national event properly. It does not touch adjudication, and commercial brand benefits are handled as sponsorship rather than as charitable giving.
Individual support
How individuals and families can help
Give through the charity's own channel
Individuals can donate directly through the designated channel of the charitable partner, or support a student or club fundraising campaign where one has been approved.
Donations are not a shortcut to an award
The Spirit & Community Impact Award recognizes a student's organizing and mobilizing ability. A family's donation total is never treated as a competition result, and fundraising is only one dimension of that rubric at 20%.
Institutional sponsorship
What the money is actually spent on
Sponsorship primarily carries event operating costs — the things that make a national competition fair and well documented rather than improvised.
- Venue and on-site operations
- Trophies, certificates and awards
- Photography and videography
- Streaming and the cross-venue link
- Timing, audio and scoring technology
- Student scholarships and learning awards
| Tier | Typical benefits |
|---|---|
| Founding Sponsor | Top-level on-site and website presence, joint acknowledgement at the event, naming in media materials. Can fund scholarships, technology or venues. |
| Supporting Sponsor | Event program, website and on-site acknowledgement, plus social media thanks. |
| Community Partner | Regional recruitment, club and school network, event collaboration. Stackable with sponsor status — but selection rights are not purchasable. |
| In-kind Partner | Photography, streaming, venue, catering, printing or technical support in goods and services. |
Tier amounts are confirmed once the founding-year budget is finalized. Benefits are indicative and settled by agreement.

Three rules that are not negotiable
In-kind support
Not everything useful is cash
Photography, streaming, venue space, catering, printing and technical support are all genuinely needed for a two-venue event, and In-kind Partner recognition exists for exactly that. Where recognition would appear alongside a charitable partner's brand, the format is confirmed with that organization first.
