Video audition
Two minutes, one take, two halves
The audition is not a performance test and it is not meant to be edited. It exists so the organizers can hear you think.
First 30 seconds
Introduce yourself
Name, grade, school, city, and anything about you that matters for the thing you are about to talk about.
Remaining 90 seconds
Answer the set question
“What is one issue facing young people today that adults should pay more attention to?”
Practical notes
- A phone camera is fine. Horizontal framing, quiet room, face lit from the front.
- Single continuous take. No cuts, no captions, no background music, no slides.
- Notes are allowed but do not read the whole thing to the lens.
- Check the audio before you submit — unintelligible audio cannot be assessed.
After you submit

Nov 14–21
Preparation window
Speech preparation, cross-venue technical rehearsal, and the submission window for Spirit Award evidence.
